HAIVO 24kV composite post insulator is a high-performance electrical insulation component designed for overhead transmission lines, distribution systems and substations. Manufactured from premium high-temperature vulcanized silicone rubber and modified ECR fiberglass, this 24kV high voltage post insulator provides both reliable mechanical support and superior electrical protection. It effectively addresses the common limitations of traditional ceramic insulators, including fragility, high pollution flashover risk and frequent maintenance requirements, making it the preferred choice for modern power infrastructure projects worldwide.
Industrial pollution and coastal salt spray often cause frequent flashover accidents in traditional insulators, leading to costly power outages. Our silicone rubber housing features excellent hydrophobicity, hydrophobicity migration and soil resistance properties. These characteristics prevent the formation of continuous conductive paths on the insulator surface, significantly reducing pollution flashover risks and ensuring uninterrupted power transmission even in heavily contaminated environments.
Traditional insulators frequently suffer from mechanical failure under extreme weather conditions. Our 24kV composite post insulator utilizes a modified ECR fiberglass reinforced epoxy resin core rod with a tensile strength exceeding 1200MPa. This core material provides outstanding resistance to high temperatures, stress corrosion and acid attack, along with excellent damping properties and resistance to creep and fatigue failure, guaranteeing long-term mechanical reliability.
Heavy ceramic insulators increase transportation costs and installation complexity. Our composite insulator weighs only 1/5-1/8 of an equivalent ceramic insulator of the same voltage rating. This lightweight and compact design simplifies transportation, reduces installation time and labor costs, and minimizes the load on transmission towers and supporting structures.
UV radiation, ozone and extreme temperatures accelerate the degradation of conventional insulation materials. Our silicone rubber composite insulators exhibit exceptional anti-aging performance, maintaining their electrical and mechanical properties for decades. They are particularly well-suited for use in high altitude areas up to 3000m above sea level where UV radiation is more intense.
Moisture ingress at the interface between end fittings and core rod is a major cause of internal insulation failure. Our insulators feature an internal radial multi-seal structure combined with overall high-temperature vulcanization technology. This design fuses the end fittings, core rod and silicone rubber housing into a single integrated unit, eliminating interface gaps and ensuring long-term sealing reliability.
Regular cleaning and maintenance of ceramic insulators represent a significant operational expense for utility companies. The self-cleaning properties of silicone rubber surfaces reduce the accumulation of dirt and contaminants, eliminating the need for periodic cleaning. This translates to substantial long-term maintenance cost savings for power system operators.

We also offer a complete range of composite post insulators for other voltage levels, including 12kV, 36kV, 72.5kV, 126kV and 252kV, to meet the diverse requirements of different power transmission and distribution systems.
Our silicone rubber sheds are formed using a one-piece injection molding process. This method produces a seamless housing with uniform material properties, ensuring consistent hydrophobicity and electrical insulation performance across the entire insulator surface.
We use specially formulated ECR (Electrical Grade Continuous Rod) fiberglass reinforced epoxy resin for our core rods. This material undergoes rigorous quality testing to ensure it meets our strict standards for mechanical strength, electrical insulation and long-term durability.
End fittings are crimped onto the fiberglass rod using advanced voice-operated displacement type crimpers. This precision crimping technology ensures uniform pressure distribution, resulting in high mechanical strength with minimal dispersion between individual insulators.
The connection points between end fittings and core rod are fully encapsulated in silicone rubber through an overall high-temperature vulcanization process. This creates a permanent bond between all components, eliminating potential leakage paths and preventing moisture ingress.
Multiple radial sealing elements are integrated into the end fitting design. These seals provide redundant protection against moisture penetration, ensuring the long-term reliability of the internal insulation system even under harsh environmental conditions.
