Our 15kV Ceramic High Voltage Drop Out Fuse Cutout is the industry-standard short-circuit protection switch for 10-38kV distribution line branches and distribution transformers. Engineered for cost-effectiveness, straightforward operation and exceptional outdoor adaptability, it delivers reliable protection for transformers, capacitor banks and other critical distribution equipment. When paired with a portable loadbreak tool, it also functions as an overhead line disconnect switch for safe line sectionalizing. All units are manufactured and tested in strict accordance with the latest international standards to ensure consistent performance in demanding environments.
Our porcelain insulators utilize Por-Rok ANCHORING cement manufactured by CGM INC, USA, for permanent bonding between the porcelain body and hardware fittings. This premium cement offers rapid solidification, high mechanical strength, low expansion coefficient and unmatched weather resistance. All ferrous components undergo hot dip galvanizing with a minimum zinc coating thickness of 86μm, providing excellent corrosion protection in coastal, industrial and high-pollution areas. This robust construction reduces maintenance frequency and extends service life up to 30 years, lowering total ownership costs for utility and industrial customers.
We employ an innovative single vent design that exhausts arc gases downwards and outwards during fault interruption. This unique configuration prevents rainwater intrusion into the fuse body and protects upper line components from hot arc gases. Combined with an integrated arc-shortening copper rod, this design delivers a reliable 12kA rated interrupting capacity for 11-15kV systems, ensuring fast and safe fault clearance to minimize downtime.
All copper casting parts are fabricated from high-grade bronze or brass, offering excellent mechanical strength and superior electrical conductivity. Every contact surface is precision silver-plated and features a convex design that reduces contact resistance and ensures consistent electrical connection. High-strength memory copper alloy sheets maintain stable contact pressure even after repeated fuse operations, preventing overheating and power loss. This design minimizes energy waste and reduces long-term operating costs for commercial and industrial power systems.
Loadbreak type fuse cutouts are equipped with arc chambers constructed from special reinforced nylon material. This advanced material provides exceptional mechanical strength, UV resistance, anti-aging properties and flame retardancy. These units are specifically engineered for use in high ultraviolet areas, high altitude regions up to 3000m, coastal salt spray environments and industrial zones with heavy pollution, ensuring reliable performance where standard products may fail.
