Haivo's 15kV Outdoor Expulsion Drop-out Type Loadbreak Fuse Cutout is the industry-standard short-circuit protection solution for 10-38kV distribution lines and distribution transformers. Combining economic efficiency, easy operation, and exceptional outdoor adaptability, it features an integrated arc chute that enables safe load switching—expanding the flexibility of your protective device system beyond standard drop-out fuses. Designed for utility companies, electrical contractors and industrial power system operators, this fuse cutout delivers reliable performance in the most demanding environmental conditions.
Our fuse cutouts are engineered to withstand decades of exposure to harsh outdoor elements. Porcelain insulators use Por-Rok anchoring cement from CGM INC (USA), delivering rapid solidification, high mechanical strength, low expansion coefficient, and 20+ years of weather resistance. Polymer insulators feature one-piece injection-molded high-temperature vulcanized silicone rubber, offering excellent tracking and erosion resistance. All ferrous parts undergo hot-dip galvanizing with a zinc coating exceeding 86μm, ensuring long-term corrosion protection in coastal and industrial environments.
The arc chamber is constructed from special reinforced nylon, providing superior mechanical strength, anti-aging, and flame retardant properties—ideal for high ultraviolet, high altitude, and coastal areas. Our innovative single-vent design exhausts gases downward and outward during interruption, preventing rainwater intrusion and protecting upper lines from damage. The integrated arc-shortening copper rod enhances short-circuit interrupting capacity up to 12kA, ensuring rapid fault isolation and minimizing system downtime.
All copper components are made of high-grade bronze/brass for optimal conductivity and mechanical strength. Contact surfaces are silver-plated with a convex design, reducing contact resistance and minimizing power loss across the connection. High-strength memory copper alloy sheets ensure consistent, reliable contact even after repeated fuse drop-out operations, eliminating the need for frequent maintenance and adjustment.
Every aspect of our fuse cutout design prioritizes operator safety and system reliability. The downward exhaust system prevents hot gases and debris from being directed toward maintenance personnel or adjacent equipment. The robust construction ensures stable performance in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C, making it suitable for deployment in diverse climatic regions worldwide.

Standard drop-out fuses are only designed for short-circuit protection and cannot safely interrupt load currents. Our loadbreak model features an integrated arc chute that allows safe interruption of normal operating currents, eliminating the need for additional load break switches in many applications and reducing overall system costs.
Porcelain insulators are ideal for general-purpose applications with moderate environmental conditions, offering excellent mechanical strength and long service life. Polymer insulators provide superior performance in high pollution, coastal, and high altitude areas due to their excellent tracking and erosion resistance, as well as their lighter weight for easier installation.
Our loadbreak fuse cutouts are designed to operate reliably at altitudes up to 3000m above sea level without derating. For applications above 3000m, please contact our technical team for customized solutions tailored to your specific requirements.
