Haivo manufactures premium 15kV outdoor high voltage fuse cutouts, the industry-standard short-circuit protection solution for 10-15kV distribution systems. Designed for economy, ease of operation and unmatched outdoor adaptability, our drop-out fuses are trusted by power utilities, electrical contractors and industrial operators worldwide for reliable protection and switching performance.
All our fuse cutouts are manufactured and 100% tested in strict accordance with the latest international standards: IEC 60282-2:2008, IEEE Std C37.41-2008 and IEEE Std C37.42-2009, ensuring consistent performance even in the most demanding environmental conditions.
Our fuse cutouts are engineered to withstand decades of harsh outdoor exposure. For porcelain insulators, the porcelain body is bonded to hardware fittings using Por-Rok anchoring cement from CGM Inc. (USA), a premium material renowned for rapid solidification, high mechanical strength, low expansion coefficient and exceptional weather resistance.
For polymer insulator options, we use one-piece injection-molded high-temperature vulcanized (HTV) silicone rubber. This advanced material provides excellent tracking and erosion resistance, superior sealing performance, and long-term durability in high-UV, high-humidity and polluted environments.
Unlike traditional multi-vent designs that are prone to water intrusion and line damage, our fuse cutouts feature a unique single vent system. During interruption, exhaust gases are directed downwards and outwards, preventing rainwater from entering the fuse body and protecting upper lines from hot gas damage. This patented design also significantly improves short-circuit interrupting capacity.
All copper components are precision-cast from high-grade bronze or brass for optimal mechanical strength and electrical conductivity. All contact surfaces are silver-plated and feature a convex design that minimizes contact resistance and ensures consistent electrical connection.
High-strength memory copper alloy sheets maintain stable low-resistance contact even after hundreds of fuse drop-out operations. Integrated arc-shortening copper rods further enhance short-circuit interruption performance, reducing arc duration and minimizing equipment damage.
Every ferrous component in our fuse cutouts undergoes hot-dip galvanizing with a zinc coating thickness of over 86μm. This heavy-duty coating provides exceptional corrosion resistance, making our products ideal for coastal areas, industrial zones and regions with high atmospheric pollution.
Loadbreak-type fuse cutouts are equipped with arc chambers manufactured from special reinforced nylon material. This material offers excellent mechanical strength, anti-aging properties and flame retardancy, making it suitable for use in high-altitude, high-UV and coastal environments. When used with a portable loadbreak tool, our fuse cutouts function as reliable overhead line disconnect switches.
