On July 1, 2026, Mr. Petde, representative of the Syrian Electricity Board, visited Haivo Electric to conduct product acceptance testing on our separable connectors. This milestone comes at a critical time as Syria accelerates its power infrastructure reconstruction, and the successful testing reinforces Haivo’s commitment to delivering reliable grid components for international markets.
The acceptance procedure followed rigorous international standards and comprised five key test items:
1. Product Appearance & Dimensional Inspection – Each connector’s insulation layer, shielding, and sealing rings were visually and dimensionally verified to ensure zero defects and full compliance with design drawings.
2. Accessories & Component Checklist – All supplied parts, stress cones, insulating plugs, and grounding wires, were cross‑checked for completeness and correct specifications.
3. Power Frequency Withstand Voltage Test – The connectors were subjected to the specified AC voltage for a defined duration to validate their insulation strength under normal operating conditions.
4. Lightning Impulse Withstand Voltage Test – A standard lightning impulse waveform was applied to simulate transient overvoltage events, confirming the connectors’ resilience against extreme surges.
5. Partial Discharge Test – Under applied voltage, partial discharge levels were measured and verified to be well within the required limits, ensuring long‑term service reliability.
All tests were carried out in Haivo’s state‑of‑the‑art 24 kV high‑voltage test hall and dedicated partial discharge laboratory, providing full technical assurance for the evaluation. Every test item was passed with outstanding results, earning high recognition from Mr. Petde and the Syrian team.
