【Yueqing, China】 - July 2023 - ZHEJIANG HAIVO ELECTRICAL CO., LTD., a specialized manufacturer and exporter of medium and high-voltage electrical equipment, today announced that its newly developed 38kV 100A Drop-Out Fuse, specifically engineered for the unique environmental conditions of an island nation in Southeast Asia, has successfully passed all type tests at the National Electrical Product Quality Inspection and Testing Center and obtained the official certification. This successful R&D and certification milestone marks a significant technological breakthrough for Haivo in addressing power grid protection challenges in specific harsh environments.


The target island nation in Southeast Asia faces severe challenges including coastal high salt-fog corrosion, year-round high temperatures and humidity, multiple biological hazards (e.g., mold, termites), and complex geological climates, which place extreme demands on the durability and reliability of electrical equipment. Haivo's R&D team directly addressed these challenges with comprehensive special design and material optimizations for this fuse:

Enhanced Corrosion Resistance: Utilizes special stainless steel and multiple advanced anti-corrosion coating processes to significantly improve the product's ability to withstand high salt-fog environments, extending its service life.


Superior Weatherability: Enclosures and internal components are made of specially formulated materials that effectively resist UV aging, high-temperature oxidation, and high humidity, ensuring stable performance.




Robust Mechanical & Electrical Performance: Designed in strict compliance with international standards, it guarantees precise breaking characteristics, excellent arc-extinguishing capabilities, and reliable mechanical operation stability, enabling swift and safe interruption of fault currents even under extreme conditions.

The passed type tests serve as authoritative validation of the product's performance. The testing protocol comprehensively covered key indicators including temperature-rise, breaking capacity, time-current characteristics, mechanical endurance, insulation, and withstand voltage, with results far exceeding standard requirements.
