PETDE Syria Successfully Completes SGS Factory Inspection for Separable Connectors at Haivo Facility

PETDE, a leading power company serving the Syrian, announced today the successful completion of an independent factory inspection conducted by SGS, the world’s premier testing, inspection and certification company. The inspection took place at the company’s  Haivo facility last month, with all acceptance tests now officially closed.

The SGS inspection team rigorously verified the model specifications and quantities of two critical separable connector types: the QJT-20-630-120 and the QJT-20-630-185. These medium-voltage connectors are designed for 10kV–35kV systems, widely used in ring main units, cable distribution boxes, and compact substations, providing fully insulated and touchable safety for SF6 switchgear and cable branch boxes.

The factory acceptance test (FAT) was performed in June 2026 and covered a comprehensive checklist, including:

· Complete physical count and model identification;

· Dimensional and mechanical functionality checks;

· Electrical performance verification against contractual specifications;

· Packaging and documentation quality review;

· Final sign-off on all acceptance criteria.

All inspected units passed the rigorous SGS protocols without deviation. The independent third-party verification confirmed that both the QJT-20-630-120 and QJT-20-630-185 connectors fully meet the required technical standards and order quantities, clearing the way for imminent shipment to project sites.
