High-voltage disconnectors play a critical role in power systems by isolating circuits and ensuring safety. However, their mechanical reliability and electrical contact stability are often challenged under extreme conditions. This paper combines experimental and simulation methods to study the performance of high-voltage disconnectors under extreme temperature, humidity, and vibration conditions, and proposes optimization designs to enhance their mechanical reliability and electrical contact stability. The results show that material improvements, structural optimization, and the application of intelligent monitoring technologies can effectively enhance the performance of high-voltage disconnectors under extreme conditions.
As critical component in power systems, the performance of high-voltage disconnectors directly affects the safety and stability of the grid. With the expansion of power systems and the increasing complexity of operating environments, extreme conditions impose higher demands on the performance of high-voltage disconnectors. This paper aims to propose practical optimization solutions through systematic research to enhance the mechanical reliability and electrical contact stability of high-voltage disconnectors under extreme conditions.
1. Experimental Research: Simulate extreme conditions such as temperature (-40°C to 85°C), high humidity (95%RH), and high-frequency vibration (10-2000Hz) to test the mechanical performance and electrical contact characteristics of high-voltage disconnectors.
2. Simulation Analysis: Use finite element analysis (FEA) and electromagnetic field simulation to study the stress distribution and electrical contact behavior of disconnectors under different conditions.
3. Optimization Design: Propose material improvements, structural optimization, and the application of intelligent monitoring technologies based on experimental results and simulation data.
1. Mechanical Reliability: Under extreme temperature and high humidity conditions, the mechanical lifespan of disconnectors increased by more than 30% after adopting high-weather-resistant materials and optimized structural designs.
2. Electrical Contact Stability: By improving the surface treatment process of contact materials, the electrical contact resistance was reduced by 20%, and stable contact was maintained under vibration conditions.
3. Intelligent Monitoring: The introduction of intelligent sensors and real-time monitoring systems enabled early warning of potential failures, significantly improving the operational reliability of the equipment.
This paper proposes optimization solutions to enhance the mechanical reliability and electrical contact stability of high-voltage disconnectors through systematic research. Experimental and simulation results show that material improvements, structural optimization, and the application of intelligent monitoring technologies can effectively enhance the performance of high-voltage disconnectors under extreme conditions. In the future, further exploration of new materials and technologies will be conducted to promote the continuous development of high-voltage disconnector technology.
