Haivo Electric Secures KPLC Order for Substation Lightning Arresters & Composite Insulators, Passes Pre-Shipment Inspection

Zhejiang Haivo Electrical Co., Ltd. has been awarded a major contract by Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) for the supply of 145kV & 220kV substation-grade surge arresters and 220kV composite insulators. In early June, KPLC engineering team successfully completed pre-shipment inspection of the first batch, with all products passing stringent technical verification.  

This milestone highlights Haivo's capabilities in serving African power infrastructure markets. Our compliance with international IEC standards and specialized anti-corrosion treatment for tropical environments were key factors in securing this contract.  

The equipment will be deployed in Kenya's national grid upgrade project, with shipment to Mombasa port mid-month. Haivo remains committed to delivering intelligent Chinese manufacturing solutions for Africa's energy sector.
