This kit applies full cold shrink technique, which requires no fire work or special tools on construction sites. Operators only need to pull the inner wick gently, and the component will retract by its own elasticity to attach closely to the cable surface. Each specification adapts to multiple cable diameters, with strong compatibility for different cable sizes. The design also reduces required installation space and shortens cable stripping length during pretreatment, supporting smooth installation in narrow construction spaces.
The insulation main body is made of liquid silicone rubber, with stable insulation performance and high elasticity. After installation, the component maintains constant radial pressure on the cable body, and adapts to the thermal expansion and contraction movement of the cable simultaneously. The insulation main body and electrical stress control unit are preformed as a whole in factory, with low partial discharge level during long-term operation. For electric field optimization, this product adopts stress cone structure. This structure extends the insulation shield into a trumpet shape, which improves electric field distribution and reduces electric field intensity at the fracture surface of the outer semi-conducting layer. Compared with stress control tube method, the stress cone design avoids performance instability caused by material dispersion, and maintains steady holding force with cable insulation.
The supporting tube of the kit uses ultrasonic welding process, which ensures structural stability, lasting tensile performance and low deformation rate. For sealing performance, the terminal body matches with cold shrink branch finger sleeve, cold shrink insulation pipe and cold shrink terminal seal tube. The intermediate joint kits apply three-layer waterproof sealing technology to achieve moisture resistance. For grounding installation, the kit uses constant force spring to fix the earth lead, without welding or tied copper wire. One end of the ground wire is pre-compressed with terminal, which simplifies installation steps and ensures steady grounding effect.
